Hi,
Am due to travel to Blackpool 8thJuly 2011 for two weeks, really looking forward to it, dispite some neg publicity/remarks about the state of Blackpool Town etc.

Just one question for anyone who has been since the upgrade.
Is the TV freeview signal that is supplied to the services post/pillar anygood ?
we normally set up the satelitte, but have been advised that the site may not allow this.
Would hate to sit, on a wet day, with 3 kids, and a moaning wife, cause she missed Corry etc.

Hi Anthony,
Haven't been to Blackpool for years but the Haven sites we use, Blue Dolphin in Scarborough and Caister near Gt Yarmouth have excellent TV reception from the posts.
Digital picked up over 40 channels.
Have a great time and hope the weathers so good you won't need the TV!
 
Hi Anthony Actually you would not believe this we received and email yesterday from york having to cancel, the long and short story we are also going to Blackpool on the 13th July 2011 for 6 nights with me being a caravan club member manage to get in at this small 5 CL Adult park ( Manor House Park ) It most be at least six years that we have been to blackpool i hope you have a great break like we will .....
