Haycraft CC Site

Going to Haycraft near Swanage after schools go back.
As this is a new site and area for us has anyone any helpful comments which would enhance our stay....
Will also take our Springer Spaniel, are there any known local beaches that we will have to avoid.
Also understand nearest supermarkets are in Swanage are there any others worth consideration.
Thanks

Haycraft is not a new site, we have stayed several times. The site is situated at Harmans Cross just off the main road into Swanage. It is a quiet site with a play field but no play area, a site best suited to adults. It is quite high up so can be windy. Being a smallish site it is a slightly different feel to the larger CC sites.

There is a medium size Coop in Swanage next to the station but you have a wide choice if you go to Poole or Bournemouth
Cannot comment regarding dogs on beaches. Swanage is an old fashioned seaside resort but the type I like.

I am sure you will enjoy the site.
