Hi all, and greetings from Dartford!

I'm new here, but have been caravanning for a couple of years now, just doing it on the cheap as I'm a single dad. We started out camping in tents, and then a trailer tent, before I realised I'm not as young as I was, and I wanted a few home comforts!!

Had a little 3 berth Monza last year which we got rid of at the end of the season - it was helpfully bought by the family on the next pitch, who were in tents: we delivered it to them on our way home! This year we've got a few more home comforts with a Baronette to drag along behind my Grand Voyager. My 11 year old son and I have been quite taken by caravans, and I can't understand why I didn't take the plunge years ago!

Hi I.P., welcome to the forum :)
As a divorced dad I started caravanning as a way to spend time with my sons when they were young, kids love it.
I hope that you'll enjoy using the forum and website to swap tips and ideas.

Hi Idiot proof.
30 years ago taking my kids away in the caravan was the only way a single dad could afford an exciting holiday.
Ask away any questions you may have.
Welcome
