Hello from a Fulltimer.

Hi all,I,m Twistgrip.New to this forum, but not to 'vanning. Been living fulltime in the 'van since '07. In fact,if I added up all the time I've spent living in a caravan,it would probably amount to a fair few years.Having spent 30 odd years working away from home in shopfitting,A caravan was my home from home.Prior to fulltiming,we(me and her!)lived on a widebeam canalboat, which I fitted out myself, for 2 reasons;(1)the standard of workmanship, especially the "woodwork",leaves a lot to be desired(a bit like most caravans!)and, (2)because I can!
Would we ever go back to a house? You may as well ask if I'd ever give up motorcycling. The answer to both would be the same;Never
Just getting used to this new fangled device,I think it's called a laptop.......................then there's this dongle thingy..
Might see some of you in a field, sometime!.

Hi & Welcome
We are new too and, like you, are fulltimers. Not quite by choice but by circumstance. So far we are loving it and are not looking for a bricks and mortar home.
Lovely forum here, very friendly.

Hi Twistgrip welcome to the Practical Caravan forum. We have other full time caravanners on this forum so you are in good company when it comes to sharing ideas and information about the realities and practicalities of full timing.
We will look forward to reading about some of your experiences as a full timer and of course we now know who to turn to for some carpentry advice
