Just saying hi as a new member to this forum. I have posted an issue regarding our new unit but have had that solved by my dealership now (hopefully).
I have been both a caravanner and camper (pre caravan!) for over 30 years. We generally go out with our local British Caravan Club area but also use holiday sites too. Just traded in for a 2005 Bailey Pageant Vermont which we love. My hubby has caravanned for about 20 years. Both of us have grown up kids now, all of whom loved their caravan holidays and weekends and my step son, who is learning disabled, still sometimes comes out with us. We love the freedom our caravan gives us for weekending and holidays, especially since we have two greyhounds which are expensive to kennel if we go abroad. Next outing for us now will be the Pickering War Weekend! Can't wait as the caravan has been in for repairs and we have missed two whole weekends!!!

Warm welcome to the forum both of you :)
We were up at Pickering with our caravan again this summer and just love it up there, especially the North York Moors Railway, and always visit and go to Whitby for the day.
If you are fans of NYMR you can support them to raise much needed funds, if you shop online, at hundreds of online retailers, including Amazon, at NO cost to yourselves by registering with easyfundraising.com and selecting North York Moors Railway as your chosen charity.
Hope you enjoy your Pickering visit and we wish you many more years of happy & safe caravanning.

Welcome Loz
We had two weeks in July at Dunnington just outside of York last July.
The Tour De France was brilliant.
The NYM railway WW2 weekend four years ago was fantastic.
A real step back in time. Enjoy it.
