Hi there all! We're new to this forum and new to caravanning, although we both caravanned with parents in our younger days. There's me and my huband and our son, aged 9. Early summer 2012 we bought a Bailey Pageant Champagne series 5. It is in extremely good condition. We used it several times (Angelsey mainly, and Cornwall). Hope to find a little better weather this year though! We've gone for a seasonal pitch in Angelsey this year as we also have a boat which we keep up there in the summer months. The idea is that we will be able to use the boat more often now we have a base. Our son loves this type of holiday and had a great time palling up with other kids. Hoping that we may have a couple of weeks in France this year, depending on what the weather is like here. Not sure how much in advance we will have to make arrangements though.

No doubt we'll be seeking advice from this forum. I can feel a question coming up regarding Truma heaters. Will post on appropriate forum.

Cheers for now. Helen

We all hope for a good summer this time around but at least if there are floods you can make your escape by boat

The Overseas Parks and Touring message board is a mine of information about caravanning in France, sites ,ferry deals etc; and I hope that you will enjoy using the forum
