Hello from The Netherlands

Hello everybody!
My name is Tim and I am a residant from the Netherlands. My wife and I own a Land Rover Freelander2 from 2011 and a Sprite 460 Europe from 2007 so you can imagine we love English "stuff"..... I hope we will find additional information at this site to improve our leisure the coming years....

Welcome Tim. My wife and I spent two weeks in Friesland last year as part of our annual European tour.
Very pleasant, but like almost all of Europe last year, very windy!
We also attended the European Classic caravan Rally near Maastricht, too.

Hello Tim, welcome to the Practical Caravan forum

It's interesting that you like using the 'English stuff' because paradoxically many UK tourer owners like cars and caravans which are manufactured in Continental Europe, particularly Germany, although the majority own UK buit caravans. There is always plenty of advice and information on this website and Practical Caravan magazine is the UK's best selling caravan publication. The members of this forum are friendly and helpful and we hope that you will enjoy becoming a part of it.

Welcome to you both.

We too have a Freelander 2 - great for towing and so comfortable on long journeys. It's the best tow vehicle we've ever had.
Happy Caravanning!

Hi,welcome to the forum. We have had a number of happy holidays in the Netherlands. I think you live in a lovely country. My brother worked for Delavel stork and lived in Hengelo some years ago and we used to visit him there.
