Hello, new member here

Hi all,

Just joined today, not new to caravans or forums though.

I have been a caravanner for around 10 years on and off, had our current van 3 years.

We have a '58' Kia Carens and '97' ABI Dalesman 450/2.

Been a PC subscriber for 3 years or so.

Regards

Andrew

Hello to all,
I'm new to this and new to caravaning.
My wife and i have decided to buy our first caravan and we favour the coachman 570/6 after seen it at the nec 2009. we've saved hard for the last year or so and will hopefully purchase this October at the show, if anyone has any advice on striking a good deal please let me know,
kind regards

Welcome to the Practical Caravan forum Rob
There will be several competing dealers at the NEC show but don't forget that buying your caravan is only the first step in your relationship with the caravan dealer.
Afterwards the caravan needs to be serviced regularly and if warranty work is ever needed the caravan is normally returned to the supplying dealer for this to be carried out. Bear this in mind when choosing a dealer because a couple of hundred pounds saving when you buy would soon be lost if you had to travel long distances for servicing etc.
Having said that ask if discounts will be available on the model that you buy and try to get accessories such as the leisure battery, waste and water containers and even discount on an awning included in your deal.
If you don't ask you won't get.
Good Luck
