hello :)

Hi everyone, we took up caravanning as a family a couple of years ago after me and my 5 year done camping we loved the outdoor life(I think it came from years as being a cub/scout and going away in my mum and dads caravan!!) We gave it a go with a 1980's eccles topaz.Ive now upgraded to a baileys senator wyoming 2007 and all the in laws have brought caravans aswell.we love touring for long weekends whether it being a clubhouse site or just somewhere where we can have a bit of relaxation. This year we are going to river dart for a weeks holiday which will be interesting as weve never done a week!!well not since i was a boy, anyone else got a baileys senator wyoming series 5 ,who will have any tips for me please. Its quite different to my eccles as you can imagine hot water on tap!!! such luxuries thanks

Hi Oliver & family and welcome to the Practical Caravan forum.
Congratulations on the upgrade to your Wyoming, when we started caravanning we bought a 1980s Eccles Topaz so I know what you mean about the luxury of hot water on tap.
Have a great time with your week away in the caravan and if there's anything at all that you're not sure about just ask

Hi, welcome to the forum. You'll find a week so much more relaxing than just a weekend as there is less (proportionally) setting up and taking down and more sitting around with a glass of your favourite. Enjoy.
