I've just bought my first caravan an ABI Ace Globetrotter of approx 1990. It's in good condition and will be a rolling work in progress to get it how I want it.

It had its first outing to Riverside Caravan Park in Southport which I found very reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful plus the pitch was large and had EHU and water readily to hand.

It will spend most of its life up and down the UK to various motor racing circuits as I am an avid follower of British Superbike racing.

Hutch, whilst not a fan of Superbikes, I do use a site near Oulton Park when they race there in October. It coincides with the Royale club's AGM. If your there this year, look us up.

Welcome to the forum, a company quite close to us builds and races superbikes, although personally I prefer Moto GP. I have met Cal Crutchlow a couple of times when he was a nipper just starting out. so I will be following his exploits this year with interest now he has a decent bike.
in reference to the globetrotter doing up a older caravan can be such a pleasurable experience enjoy, some usefull information can be had for the project Elldis running in the mag. and Nigel's (the editor) bloggs. if you have any problems just ask on the forum we are here to help.

Hi Steve and welcome to the forum, I see you have an ABI Ace Globetrotter, ...I hope you enjoy it. I have a Globetrotter as well, but mine is the 2 berth ABI Jubilee Globetrotter...and I think this is a lot smaller version than yours. However if it should be the same then I have all the dimensions, wiring diagrams weights etc...
