Finally decided to join the forum after reading though and searching various topics after the last year or so.
I'm now the owner of a 2004 Compass Pentara which we should be collecting this weekend.
I have just sold my 1995 Elddis Hurricane XLi which was my first caravan.
Previous to this my parents owned a few caravans but the one I rendered most was a 1968 Ace Harmony (if I remeber correctly) with glass windows and gas lights etc. Boy was that thing cold as a kid (taking into account we didn't buy it until the 90's) things have changed and for the better!
My wife and I like travel in general, be it flying or driving.
Last year I took the caravan to Le Mans for the 24hour race and picked the wife up from Poiters after before heading towards Cognac and then D'oleron for a week and then back home to Nottingham.
This year we are planning on doing a 2 week trip to Beaune (dijon) and then towards Lyon and possibly Switzerland and then back up though champagne country to Epernay.
When out and about in the UK we like small quite and hidden away CL's preferably in North Norfolk and Lincolnshire.
