Not entirely new to caravaning but the last van we had was 10 years ago and my daughter was 9 months old!! It was a 1970's 10ft Ace Airstream towed by a 2litre ford granada. Anyway the famlies got a little bigger (5 kids now) and were looking for a twin axle 6 berth. Wow, how caravans have changed!! Towing car is a 2004 Disco 2.5 TD5 Auto. Cheers, I'll ge posting some questions on the board now.

Welcome Shrek.

Caravans have come on leaps and bounds over the last decade. I'm sure you'll find one to suit you and also with a disco you'll not be limited to size choice.

We're all a friendly lot here and often like a bit of friendly banter.

So fire those questions big or small, daft or serious, we'll give it a goat coming up with answers.

Shrek , Welcome.

We got a large Bailey Senator T/A to replace our written off old van. It is a 5 birth and my Aunt and family have the six birth for them and her daughters family.

You have an ideal tow car, our older Bailey is well built and fittings are good and it tows very well.

Hello and welcome Shrek. Just a word of advice mate, with 5 kids make sure you have a T.V. with your next van. If you have anymore patterings of tiny feet it will be a double-deck bus conversion you willl need hehheh!
