Help - Damaged Acrylic Windows

Fitted a winter cover to my new Coachman van last (windy) winter. Wrong decision!
Now have lots of little "paw" marks all over my upper and front/ side windows which I cannot shift with normal polishing.
Has anyone any advice how to proceed?
I am currently wondering if a circular electric polishing mop might have an effect but I thought I would post first here to see if anyone else knows of a solution that would work.
