help please on water pump

We have a Truma Crystal (Mk2) Maxi pump with our caravan. I have been looking for a spare pump and most I have found are Thames and a few Maxi ones. On the Truma web site I am unable to find anything on the Maxi only Thames. But Dethleffs, and others, still list Maxi as the water pumps provided. What is the difference between them?

As I am looking to get a complete replacement is there any problem in using one of the Whale replacement kits (they at least publish easily findable information on flow rates etc)?

Amost any pump that fits in the top of the aquaroll will do. Just connect the two wires (making sure you got the polarity correct) to the plug block and the outlet of the pump to the feed pipe and it'll work. I think the Maxi pump has a higher flow rate than the thames but I've used Whale cos they are easier to get where I live (lots of Chandlers around here)
