We are planning to loan our van to our divorced son and 11 year old grandson for a week in the summer holidays. We are looking at the subject site which I know several readers are familiar with. As we have never visited this site before we would be grateful for a pointer as to whether to book the hardstanding pitch or grass. I notice from the 360 degree views on their web site (yellow field) that there may be a problem with the pegging out of our porch awning if hardstandings are brick. Can anyone advise me which is the most suitable. We always lean toward hard standings if allowed a choice and taking account of the likely weather conditions given the usual British summer! But we don't want to arrive and find we cannot peg the awning out satifactorily owing to the type and dimensions of the hardstanding pitch. We are tempted to book grass but again this could be a muddy paddy field under water etc etc.
Could anyone who is familiar with this site advise us please?
Many thanks
