On this one I would strongly advise you to leave it well alone!!!!!

Whatever you do, do NOT part with anything until you are absolutely certain of the validity of the ownership, and legality of their right to sell, or you will probably end up with no Jeep, and no caravan, when it is found to be stolen.

I am curious - have you had an opportunity to see the van? Do you have landline contact numbers or just mobile numbers? Does the exchange seem a fair deal - i.e. is this exchange just too good to be true?

I agree with Damian, some of the scams doing the rounds now could easily see you without both your Jeep and the caravan.

Don't let you heart rule your head! Let us know your decision.

have seen van it looks like just been pulled off site awning and poles just thrown on floor van very dirty.

we only have mobile phone numbers, the street van is parked on is not where the seller lives tried to get name and address not giving it to me.

even contacted police they dont seem interested,i was more concerned that the van was stolen, some poor family will be missing out on holidays,i am really at a loss as to who else i can contact. we have actually decided not to swap, but if van is stolen i would have liked to try to find out and let its rightfull owner know.does anyone have any advice
