Helping my neighbour reverse his caravan into a very tight storage spot we accidentally touched the wheel arch plastic piece of the Abbey. It resulted in a scratch on the plastic 1.5" long and 2mm deep.
The bloke's dealer has quoted £250 for supplying and fitting the new wheel arch piece. They say 4 hours labour . Does this sound right? Looking at the Abbey and a number of other vans it looks like the plastic is only held on with six screws.
In all honesty it is such a minor ding I doubt he would lose any value at trade in. But we did it, just a shame he's such a pedantic old misery. Irrelevant perhaps but he had parked up two feet onto our pitch.
Cheers
