Hey there!!!

We're new here - I'm Sonia and have a husband called Dean!

We're in Gloucestershire and have just purchased our caravan (Yesterday!)

We had one last year.. but the damp took it over and having a daughter with a serious, life-threatening condition we had to get rid.

We have 5 children (all under 6 years old) and so we have a Ford Transit Minibus.

We have a ABI Ace Globetrotter caravan (4 berth!)

We regularly buy the magazine anyway, so thought we'd sign up for more help, information on caravanning.

Look forward to chatting soon.

Hi Sonia

Welcome to the forum and I hope that you and your family will have many Ace times Globetrotting (or at least touring here)in your new caravan.

I'd imagine that you will be excitedly planning your maiden voyage, don't forget to tell us all about it.

I'm sure that our members will be very happy to offer any advice that you need.

It's a shame about the earlier damp caravan (I bet that you wish that you'd spoken to us oldies on here first!) but you've done the right thing in getting shut of it.

There are some beautiful areas to tour in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and of course Gloucestershire with the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.

Thanks so much!

I did look into repairing the walls, but to be honest it hadn't just attacked ONE wall, it was all around the caravan - It looked dreadful! It started off in the bathroom but every single wall was 'push-in-able' and the metal outside had buckled.. It really was in such a poor condition.. Glad to have got
