Hi ALL not well again .

My husband been in hospital and he not been well he was told in his best interest to get a Wheelchair his legs are not good and to get about outside he has a motability scooter to help him .
We also had to changed the car to a Seat Altea XL TDI DSG and caravaning this year is not great we have been thinking of going seasonal next year or buy a mover for the caravan..

Sorry to hear this. hope he is on the mend again soon. A seasonal pitch may be a good plan

Sorry Beachball to hear about your OH, I'm with Mel on this one a seasonal might be the best bet, hope he recovers soon. good luck

So sorry to learn that Mr Beachball is beset by health problems, if you look for a seasonal pitch try to find one with good pathways and disabled facilities.
If you contact your local authority social services or look on their website you may find that wheelchairs are sometimes loaned to those who need then on payment of a small deposit.
Under the Chronically Sick & Disabled Persons Act 1970 your local social services have a duty to make arrangements for the provision of services to support disabled people.
Click Here for a fact sheet on Disability Equipment and how to get it.

That's a real shame Beachball.

The seasonal seems a sensible possibility and probably a better financial option than a motorhome.

A lot of private seasonals will a
Os store your caravan and set it up for you when required. A sort of a cross between a seasonal and storage.

I hope your OH does improve.

Best wishes

Hi Beachball
Sorry to hear about your OH, and can sympathise totally with you, think going down the seasonal route would be a good idea, I must admit that a couple of years ago when my OH was unwell he still enjoyed going out in the van, which was fine but meant everything was left to me so had motor mover fitted to make life easier, and then OH could help with set up by using the mover!!
