Hi from Derbyshire

I'm a photographer working and living in the Derbyshire Peak District. because of my work I really need a cheap clean caravan to pull behind a Fiat Punto Grande Active Sport 1.4.

We have had motorhomes in the past but given the cost retraints and the need to have a 'base' to work from. A caravan seems like the ideal solution.

It needs to be small because of the car and sleep two plus a little Yorkshire Terrier.

Any ideas would be very welcome 🙂

Hi davidking welcome to the practical caravan forum a few years ago we towed this van with our Fiat Uno 1.2 it was a 2 berth Kip Kompakt Caravan if you want more information look on Leisure Vehicles co.uk ( this should be ideal for your Fiat Punto Grande Active Sport 1.4 ) i hope this helps...

Hi David, a slightly belated welcome to the Practical Caravan forum from me, I've just come back from a slightly chilly week away in the caravan.
You need to bear in mind the weight limitations of the tow car particularly the 60 kg towball limit and you may also need to fit spring assistors on the Fiat.
I had a quick look at the What Tow Car website and I came up with the data for an Avondale Dart 380-2 which would be around an 87% match for your towcar.

to see the report for the 1.3 Fiat and Avondale Dart 380-2
If you ask the question in the Towcar section I'm sure that there will be other suggestions for possible caravans which would be safe for you to tow.
