My name is Edwin, age 57, single dad, Londoner, living in Nottingham.
I bought my first caravan for self catering holidays, my son has a peanut allergy, and it felt safer to self cater. Sadly the van had little use, it's not cool for him to be going away with dad, he is now 16. Sold up and bought a smaller old caravan a month ago, Eldis Whirlwind 2 berth, 1990 vintage. Had a few nights in Clumber Park to make sure the wheels didn't fall off, now booked to go abroad for my first caravan trip to near Dijon, France for a Cajun music festival long weekend. Visiting Cropredy music festival on the way back so an interesting first jaunt abroad.
