Awaiting delivery of our first ever caravan. A bailey Pegasus2 Verona that we will be towing with an Audi Q5 3.0Tdi.
I'm not new to the towing concept having been in the Army. But we are new to all this caravan stuff.......so much to learn! I didn't realise lol.
Still we're both looking forward to some lovely relaxing holidays with our two little dogs.
So all help greatfully received.

Hi Roger
Welcome to this Forum. This is a mine of information and most posters on here are very patient. Never be afraid to ask a question even if it seems daft. We all had to learn .
I like the outfit especially the Audi, lucky you!
What dogs have you got?

Hi Roger, welcome to the Practical Caravan forum and congratulations on buying your first tourer.
I hope that you enjoy many happy times away in your caravan and asking on this forum is the best way to find out anything that you need to know before starting your caravanning adventures.
Have a good look at everything during the handover, the salesman should demonstrate how everything works so take your time to check everything.
It might be a good idea to print off a list of things that you will need, necessities such as an Aquaroll and bottled lpg and habitation items such as crockery and cutlery ( top of the list - corkscrew and bottle opener

)
If you post any questions in the General section they will be seen by more members who will be able to give some good advice and tips.
Good Luck

Yes Roger .
Parksy is right and also before we go away we always run off alist of what we need to take with us and of course tick it off as you pack
Typical of Parksy first thing he will pack is can opener and bottle opener.
Once again good Luck . Sir Roger ( Parksy , We have another Roger :)
