Hi James

Congratulations on buying a caravan ad I'm sure that you and your family will enjoy it.

Your enquiry about the site in Scotland might receive more answers if you re post it in UK Parks & Touring

Hiya

Well for us the Season NEVER ends, we go away in all weathers, last year we went to Kingsbury, just down the road for us, and it was -5 degrees, but we were cosy and toastie in our 1993 van. No problem.

Hi james. You say you want some good advice about caravans?...Well....Don't over stretch the wife by buying a caravan that's to big for her to wash n polish in a single morning because it may hold up lunch.

hi welcome to the caravan word and congrats on your purchase. Craigie gardens caravan club site in ayr is open until christmas, its a nice site and about 10 min walk into ayr town centre would be great here for a weekend or longer. i found the caravan club sites were well equiped and by far of the best standards. when i bought my caravan about 7 yrs ago i joined the club, i come from ayrshire and have been to the club site in edinburgh which is open all yr, also try the club site at onich (near fort william) the views are out of this world!! depending on your taste, the highlands are beautiful and iv been again and again with the van, i also love the lake district. the choice is yours now, you have the freedom to go where ever you want in your new home on wheels! enjoy.
