We're off to your part of the world on Sunday.....a week at the Club Site / River Breamish ( Powburn ) Love it there and always enjoy going into Alnwick.Then we are off to the Club site at Melrose for a few days.Hope you enjoy the forum.

Hi Dee and welcome. We love the North East and often bring our caravan up to Powburn too, don't know if you've been out in your caravan yet but I'd certainly recommend a stay there if you've not tried it.
Maureen, you may already know but there's a great butchers / farm shop tucked away in an unlikely place at the back of the petrol station at the bottom of the road....sounds less than appealing I know but their food is superb.

Oops, I made a mistake and replied to Lord B in Chit -Chat......yes we discovered the butchers.....not where one would expect
) but very handy indeed.This visit I need to pick up a birthday cake,so think that will be a visit to Alnwick.
By the way I have changed my name to Lady Maureen as another Maureen keeps popping up from time to time!!!This should put me on a higher level.....ha,ha,ha.
