Highly recommended CL in Yorkshire

The mod says we are to use this thread for CL's.

Last year we stopped on the CL belonging to Ros & Eddie Startup.We received a real warm welcome and the field was immaculate with electrics and the use of a toilet nearby.Eddie would phone and book restaurant tables for us at no charge,and we had only to ask and we were given tourist information at the drop of a hat.

For us the big bonus was that our daughter and her family could stay in the self catering accomodation right next to the CL ( and the cottage was the most attractive that we have seen for a long time.

What a small world! I booked this one yesterday for a weekend in July. Had seen it recommended somewhere and was on our list of ones to visit. Great pics on www.5van.co.uk as well.

There is a very nice pub in the next village which does excellent meals.....can't remember its name,but ask Eddie.I fell down on my way back and sprained my ankle....needless to say I was accused of having too much to drink!!!
