Just returned from Hill Cottage Farm and it is indeed a lovely site, with generous pitches (we were on a fully serviced pitch). Room behind our van for 7 chairs and a washing line plus more space, it was superb. Only gripe was when we arrived the camping field behind a big hedge on our pitch was full of tents so the noise was loud both nights till well past 10.30pm curfew (why do people not realise that voices carry in the night when you are sat outside) and the fact that there were only 4 showers for a field full of campers and a nearly full touring area is a bit poor. Also, although spotlessly clean the loos/showers were a bit clinical and dated and could have done with some prettying up, but this is only my opinion. Never have I had to queue 5 deep for showers on a morning but this only happened on the Sunday moring. Worth noting if visiting but wouldn't put me off going there again - the area itself is outstandingly beautiful.
