Richard, they kind of work, but only on tarmac or concrete level surfaces with any success.
On wet surfaces, they lose traction, as with loose surfaces like gravel.
Look through the classified adverts in mags and on Ebay, then ask why so many are for sale!!
The last thing you want happening is losing control of your van.
Whilst expensive, a fixed mover is the best option.
