hob steam extraction

Has anyone located & fitted a small extractor fan in a cupboard above cooker /hob, I have just found a cooker extractor which will be perfect , I have not received the unit yet, but ordered on internet. It is an " omega " cooker hood, measuring 380 mm x169 x39 deep 12 v, also reqd. 100 x 60 mm reducer, flue roof fitting and a short length of 60 mm ducting.. Very pleased with the unit, no problem fitting.
