I believe that you might get a better insight into Hobby owners and their vans if you go to the 'Hobby owners club'. Just type 'Hobby owners club' into Google and you should get there. They have meets which might/not interest you.

We had a Hobby:

26' long minus the towbar. Not allowed to pull around the UK without a 3.5 tonnne truck. Had to have it delivered to site. After a couple of years tired of it and went 'on the road' again with a UK tourer.
