Last night I was having my nightly walk and I was wondering how other people stow their water and waste hogs. No doubt I can work something out but I am curious as there are some clever people about.

Mike you have very intersting thoughts as you go walking, I would never have managed to think of such a technical subject whilst walking.

When travelling the Aquaroll and waste containers are a snug fit in the shower tray of the van - they dont rattle or roll about and if there is any mess from them it is easy to clean the shower tray. On site when not in use they sit under the van out of the way. At home they are kept in the garage over the winter period again out of the way.

If you are referring to the 'Waste Hog' trade item then I sympathise. I was 'persuaded' by my own indulgence to buy one of these at a caravan show and have regretted it. The item is itself very useful and does its job fine, but is very bulky. I was even persuaded (by me I may add) to buy a storage bag, which made no difference to its bulk. I stored it initially under the fixed bed, but found getting it in and out was diabolical. I have since disposed of it on a 'dump' and will be buying a jerrycan type of waste container that I can easily store and use. Yes, I will carry it instead of wheeling it, but the extra space released is far more beneficial.

My conclusion? Sometimes we can get ahead of ourselves, and reality when let loose in an accesory shop.
