Hole in caravan worktop

Someone, no one's owning up, has knocked a small hole in the worktop where I place the TV in my Avondale Landranger. The worktop is standard Avondale creamy/light brown mottled effect laminate. Can anyone suggest a suitable filler which would repair this reasonably unobtrusively. I don't really want to go to the trouble/expensive of having the whole area re-covered,

Thanks

Tim, same thing happened to some friends. They stuck some small tiles on in a diamond pattern and it looked very good.

Agree with Ray, diamond laid tiles are good, especially if you have a reason, like teapot, to stand on it, but in your Landranger perhaps first filling the hole with 'Polyfilla', then smoothing it and covering a suitable portion of the surface with 'Fablon' may make for a more level surface for the TV to stand on.

Hi Tim

This happened to us so I filled it with 'no-sand polyfilla' which is very fine and then coloured it with the nearest colour wood stain. It is not perfect but not too bad either and now the fruit bowl stands over it.
