holland campsite duinrell

hi could anyone give me information about this site we are going there on 31 july for 2 weeks and let me know about areas to visit and what the weather is like at this time of year we have 2 children age 15 and 17 also driving in holland thanks very much

Hi

We have been to this site a few times, it is great for kids. Its a short walk to the rides and most are free. Driving in Holland is very easy, just like france.

As for places to visit there are a few nice beaches within 10 miles and one you can ride your bike to if you take them with you. Amsterdam is about 1 hour away, a very good dolphinarium is about 1 1/4 hours away. Dont forget to go to the pancake house's, the one just outside the site is very good.

The local village is nice and is only about a 5 min walk from the site.

If you prefer peace and quiet ask for a pitch the other end of the site from the ammusments because the kids can get a bit noisy in the evenings, they also take grouop bookings from english football teams so you dont want to be too close to them.

We have allways found that the weather over there is roughly the same as a home ( Southern England ) but either a day ahead or a day behind.
