Came home on Saturday and prior to going down to the pub I noticed what I thought was smoke coming out from under the front bunk. After stripping it I realised that it was steam from the hot water pipe. As the pipe comes out the geyser, it had cracked allowing a steady stream of water to spurt out.
Our water barrell is automatically topped up as it is fed directly from the mains. If we had not been there when it cracked the whole caravan would have been totally flooded. Trust it to happen on a weekend when all caravan dealers are shut.
Strange that it should go on a caravan less than tow years old by a few days. Managed to jimmy rig it until I can get a replacement pipe. How long should this type of piping last and how often should you be changing it. It is a trunslucent pipe striped with red.
