I and eight of our family stayed the last two nights in a Buckinghamshire Hotel so we could see The Villa at Wembley.
On chcking out this morning I was charged £146.00 for a restaurant and bar bill I never had!
The antipodean clerk had to ring someone who said if it was on my room I paid.
I took the phoned , snarled , bared the canines and told this female dog where to stick it. Moreso I invited her to the restaurant where we did eat and drink for proof I wasn't in her hotel. In any event none of the bills had my signature on them. She climbed down.
When I used to travel a lot the hotel staff always made you sign for your drinks and food and asked to see your room pass or key.
Just goes to show there are some real low lifes out there.
