Our local sports shop/children's outfitters has a large advert in the window: BACK TO SCHOOL, with a display of school uniforms. Most schools round here don't break up for at least another week. What's next........BOOK EARLY FOR CHRISTMAS???
 
Any parent who has left the new school shoes to an end of school holiday trip to Clarks will know that you have to take your queue number about now to have any chance of a pair!

Mel, don't forget that we also have to get the mortgage arranged before the trip to clarks, indoor trainers, outdoor trainers and shoes!!!
 
Remember it well Martin. Fortunately they mostly buy their own shoes now. Still have one teenager left but we get fostering allowance for him.
