I was listening to a guy say how he left his caravan electrics connected with the car turned off overnight ready for a quick get away for the ferry in the morning.
He has the Alko ATC and he said that his battery was flat in the morning.
He checked everything and nothing was on apart from the supply to the ATC which is permanent.
I checked my BPW version and yes when the car is turned of and locked their is still power to the system, i have checked the fitting instructions and this is correct.
I guess from now on i will disconnect when left for an extended amount of time?

I would imagine that the amount drawn when stationary is neglible as it is only activaed by movement. Something else flattened his battery.

I believe that the only current draw in this scenario would be the few milliamps used to illuminate the LED.
Test the current draw with an ammeter.
