If you want to find the cheapest fuel prices in your area then try this website it is www.petrolprices.com and also you can apply for a free card called Pipelinecard what this is a card which gives you 5-10p off a litre of fuel with the oil company they have agreed this with they want as many people to hit the website and register for the card I for one have done this and I urge everyone who reads this to apply and also pass the website on to friends, family, work colleagues the web address is www.pipelinecard.org and I hope enough people register for this and enjoy the benefits of cheaper fuel.

This subject has cropped up several times in this forum and the general concensus was that the 5 to 10p saving per litre, if achievable at all, would be relative to the most expensive high street petrol station and not relative to supermarket retailers that already offer cut prices.

The price of petrol ex-refinery, i.e. without duty, VAT, retailer's profit, etc., is less than 20p so whatever Pipelinecard can have negotiated with the petrol companies is unlikely to result in a 50% saving.

I was once a fuel protester and if this pipelinecard can save me money at the pumps I am all for it and as a driver towing a caravan with a diesel car the cheaper the petrol the better
