hi joanne

we have had this topic before the "its my pitch I have paid for it brigade" against the "its only a van parked on field you dont own the field" brigade.

good luck let battle commence.

And the devil cast his net!

Experience has taught me to try and pitch where you will not be on a natural pathway to the toilets or dog walk. Thus I don't get agitated. I am on holiday.

Do I have a wind break, no. I just can't be ars-d to lug some other eyesore around with me.

I have two Springer Spaniels and they like to see what's going on rather than get spooked by noises behind such a screen.

Cheers

I bought three big windbreaks three years ago, they're still in the shed, never been used.

I like to have a good look at what's going on too. LOL! I do feel sorry for campers in tents when it's heavy rain though.

Hi Joanne,We would feel the same as you, these people are pig ignorant and thats an insult to a pig,and a further insult with the other the other persons dog peeing up ypur windbreak, god I would have laid into him(dogs owner).

Try to enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Joanne being a Midlander like yourself I can stand so much from people like your guy with the dog then I have to let rip.Jim

hi joanne, im the other jo-anne there on about. i always put a windbreak up for storm and she also has a beach shelter if its hot she can go and sit in it. i do it so the kids dont bother her etc etc.

i agree its really annoying when someone walks over your pitch. the thing is if there dog started on yours or mine we would get the blame because you have a rottie and i have a staffie. thats what alot of people think thats how there brain works.

good luck with caravanning

People who cut across the pitch that you have rented for the weekend are plain stupid and without an iota of common sense. Being stupid without any common sense they probaly are poor drivers and when towing use all three lanes, over load the caravan and never have it checked.

Luckily we do not have that sort of person on this forum or do we? I hope not.

Joanne,

As they cross your pitch just ask them politely......would you get upset if somebody croosed your back/front garden because it was a quicker route? when they answer yes, just say so would I......now get the F**k of of my pitch!

Dont know why anyone would push past a windbreak to cross your pitch, they would have soon moaned if the dog did have a grumble at them, I dont use windbreaks but have no objection to those that do, each to their own camping I say :)
