Ile de Re & Puy Du Fou Holiday Journal and Photos

Very interesting, was thinking of going to Puy de Fou this year was put off before by the long day but getting on a near site is a good way round it.Thanks for putting the photos on

Hi Dave
I'm glad you liked the Journal and photos. My advice would be not only to stay nearby, Le Breteche is ideal, but to stagger your visit to the Parc and Ciniscene over more than one day. We had a full day in the Parc, went back to Le Breteche for tea and then returened late evening for the Ciniscene performance. As the Ciniscene did not finish until after midnight it was VERY LONG day.
Puy du Fou is BRILLIANT I'm not easily impressed but in all my 50+ years it was one of the most spectacular thing I have ever seen.
I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Best wishes
Tim

Thanks for the heads up Tim,we are thinking of having the Thursday at the park then the Friday night show, leaving Saturday midmorning for our return.Have posted a topic looking for an overnight stay 200 miles or so towards Calais if you know of one.
Regards
Dave
