Hey Colin,

That was a bit underhand poisoning the wife so you can get back to the forum!

Seriously hope she gets better soon.

John - you haven't met my wife then - serious now she has taken to bed for virtually all the afternoon and evening with no food but a large glass of water. Like the majority of women she will not let me phone the doctor - they are a stubborn bread.

Hi Colin, sorry to hear about your wife, we had food poisoning (not from my cooking I hasten to add!!!) several years ago and it was awful.

How did she get it, where from? You presumably didn't eat the same food?

Sue - thankyou for your message of concern - it is very much appreciated. The only difference in food we ate whilst in Devon was a lettuce we bought from a well know supermarket (very little helps) in Brixham. She had a salad but did not rinse the lettuce prior to eating. I only enjoy lettuce in a sandwich with white peeper on it. She is now over the upset thank you and is 100% fit for nagging me again. LOL.

Hi Colin

I thought you were back quick. Are you sure it was the lettuce and not a BBQ you cooked or undercooked??

Never mind , I'm sure all that towing on the M5 was fun.

Enjoy your next break.

Cheers
