hi

we've found the source of an unpleasant odour in our newly acquired van to be maggots in the fridge door under the seal at the bottom.The previous owner has admitted she did smash some eggs when the fridge door wasn't secured properly when towing we've steam cleaned the carpet dragged the fridge out and steamed behind it and made slits in the door seal to flush out anything that maybe lurking in there does anyone know of anything we can spray or use to scrub the fridge to ensure we have cleared them all as i have since been warned there a bit of a ****** to totally get rid of

Use ordinary household bleach. I eggcup full to a pint of cold water. Its a good sterilant and degrades to common salt so will not contaminate your food.
