Fitting a Zig unti isn't really that difficult, and all you need is a wiring diagram for the unit.

If you can read a wiring diagram, and 'adapt it' for your own van, then you shouldn't have any problem.

You don't say what Caravan you have, but it may well be that somebody on here could let you have a wiring diagram to suit your make and type of van.

Hi Steve.

I'm surprised that a 1995 van hasn't got a Zig (or similar) unit. Our Lunat 500/4 is a 1986 model and has full electrics on a Zig panel.

Are you sure it hasn't been removed?

Scotchlocks etc suggest a DIY job to me, rather than a finished factory caravan.

Single electrics are all we have. You only need the double socket for running the fridge whilst towing which has never bothered us. We take a small cool box, and transfer the food to the fridge when we get to the site and hook up.

Let's know how you get on when you get your handbook.
