instructions for trio sombrero awning??

Hi,we have bought a second hand awning but there are no instructions.It's a bit different to the others we've had.There are,there are awningpads on the awning and we are miffed.Has any body got any instrutins for us to look at please.It's a TRIO SOMBRERO SZ 10.

I have a trio family awning and all trio awnings have awning pads fitted since about 1998,they are sewn on the inside next to the beading. I believe on your particular size you have 3 pads.They errect just like any other awning, run the awning through the rail, place the hook of the centre roof pole in the pad and the other end through the opening sewn at the top at the middle of the awning tension the roof pole against the pad taking up the slack of the awning to prevent it sliding in,put in the centre upright,it is easier to start with the centre pole then do one of the side poles in the same manner then connect to the middle pole, then do the remaining side. I do have instructions for the trio awning which are the same,if you would like a copy leave a form of contact so I can e-mail or post them to you.

I am in the same situation as you, haven't tried to put it up yet. Did manage to track down manufacturer who suggested i try www.awningadvice.com. These guys have loads of info on all types of awnings old and new. With pictures and instruction leaflets. if you'd like me to email you a copy of the instructions and a photo of how it should look let me have your details.
