I have a trio family awning and all trio awnings have awning pads fitted since about 1998,they are sewn on the inside next to the beading. I believe on your particular size you have 3 pads. They errect just like any other awning, run the awning through the rail, place the hook of the centre roof pole in the pad and the other end through the opening sewn at the top at the middle of the awning tension the roof pole against the pad taking up the slack of the awning to prevent it sliding in,put in the centre upright,it is easier to start with the centre pole then do one of the side poles in the same manner then connect to the middle pole, then do the remaining side. I do have instructions for the trio awning which are the same,if you would like a copy leave a form of contact so I can e-mail or post them to you.
