internal light fitting advice please

I have a Sterling oldish van and need to replace pull switch on a light. I am just unsure how to take front off. I do have a photo but cannot see how to attach.

You need first to upload your picture to a host website like Photobucket etc. Then copy and paste the img link which will be given on your host web page to here.
A picture will certainly clear up whether we're talking 12volt lights or mains.
