Internet connection in caravan

I am no technophobe with mobile/internet technology, but in simple English can someone please explain to me the best way to get internet connection while away in the van. I have a mobile pay-as-you-go phone and no dongle. So . . . . can I plug in my mobile and use that,(and what sort of special adaptor would I use for it) or do I go and buy a dongle on pay-as-you-go useage. Would I be wasting my money buying a dongle if a mobile will do the same job? Or will it??? I need someone to explain to me please what to do and the best way to go about it. Thanks

If you have a "smart" phone with USB connection and in built modem you can connect via USB port to the internet.

Nokia have a free simple download for their phones called Nokia PC Suite. You select you network supplier once when you connect and then its a simple one touch click connection to the internet from then on. Other phone manufacturers offer similar connection software.
