Following the recent appeal for new moderators for our forum, we would like to introduce the new team. In addition to Ken (Mod1) and Damian (Mod2) there's one new moderator. We will change our usernames (nicknames) as follows so that everyone will know who we are, and to enable us to contribute to threads should we wish to.

Ken (Moderator)

Damian (Moderator)

Parksy (Moderator)

Thanks for letting us know Ken.

Welcome Parksy.

Just a quick question, is Damian the original Mod 2?

Thank you Lisa

As you may see from Ken's post I'm the scorcerers apprentice but I don't think we're having numbers now.

I think from personal experience knowing who is the Mod is a good thing rather than hide. People will have more respect for that person rather than they would having a person hiding.

I've never hid and with only one or two exceptions have got on well with all. Even the ones I call my friends know they will be treated the same and gagged or booted if they break the Terms of Use. Some love to bait the Mods but that is because they hide behind their Mod nic and are only seen as a person in authority.

BTW Parksy, congrats :O)

I will still call His Moddyship His Moddyship ... hehheh!

Thanks Graham and Lord Brakewynde

I'm waiting for my gold engraved invite to arrive from Screwem Hall and I'm wondering if I should ask Baron Haymarket if I can borrow his ermine when I visit.

I'll have to 'learn ter spake proper now' Graham

By saying Baron Haymarket I take it you mean my good friend Lord Hestletine of Thenford. If so I will get him on the blower and have a word with him for you old bean. I'm sure he will accommodate your request :O)

You seem to have a sense of humour Parksy, how'd you get the job

May be PC removes it and open thought during training

Leg pulling apart, good luck! Hope this is a good Omen!

Thanks Jason and Plotter

In answer to your question Jason,I was booked in for a 'humourectomy' but I produced a note from my Mrs so I'm safe (for now) Plotter, I think that I shall have to partake of wine now that Lord B is pulling strings in high places on my behalf. I hope that they stock the appropriate vintage down at the Horseley Tavern

I don't know about reversing surgery but the Moderating team will all take an 'anti grump pill' every day if members take 'anti abuse pill' ;0)

Knowing the Horseley Tavern as I do I doubt they know what wine is because it is not allowed in there as it stains the sawdust on the floor.

What do you mean can't lose what I've not got! My late uncle Adolf used to split his sides when I visited him in that nice big house that he had in the Obesalsburg. Beetrootgaden I think it was called.
