hi keith

go to http://www.whattowcar.com/index put in the details of your car and van it will give you a breakdown of what to expect weight and performance wise.

there is also legal requirements that have to be complied with.

a guide to these can be found in the legal section of this web sites home page.

do this just to make sure, however from personel experience the combination you describe sounds pretty good to me as there are quite a few much larger vans being towed by 307's and the bailey is quite light,

mine is slightly heavier @1058kg a ranger 380/2 2002 model and I tow it with a megane 1.9dti without any major towing problems.

Hi Kieth

The peugeot 307 hdi you have has a towing capacity of at least 1350 kg so you will have no problems towing, infact the only problem you might have is keeping below the speed limit
