Am I alone in thinking there are some pretty silly questions being posted (Like this one!)

Do people really go out and buy a van then question whether their car can tow it ?

Are we too lazy to find out the kerbweight of our vehicle by looking in the handbook ?

Are we safe to be on the roads if we can't negotiate a little map reading ?

Ok, it is me. Sorry !

In recent weeks I've come across people who do not know how to use a screwdriver and another who coul not understand that a flat blaed screwdriver will not work on a cross head screw and another not sure how hard to hit a nail with a hammer.

A lady driver who will not use 5th gear as the car might go to fast if she changes up from 4th.

I've met many who can't even change a simple plug fuse or put a plug on a cable.

A guy with a six speed gear box who has exchanged the car beacuse six gears is to much to get his head around after six weeks.

And somebody that knows how to check the oil and water of their car but can not understand how to get the bonnet open and finds bonnet stays to difficult to use.

I also know of a group of shopping companions who for two years drove around the M25 clockwise on numerous occasions to the Lakeside Complex from junction 8. None of the group realised or understood that the M25 is a ring road and had directed co workers along the same route. They went though to Bluewater anti clockwise. For those that are not aware look up their web sites and whereabouts ;-0

So do people buy vans without knowing about weights etc, OF COURSE THEY DO :)

Remember what may appear silly to you, someone else may have been pondering over for quite sometime. So what, we all sometimes post what may be obvious to someone else but, not to ourselves. I wish I was that smart to know all the answers to everyones questions.
