Isabella Awning Fibre Glass Frame

I have just purchased a second hand 1050cm Ambassador awning and on inspection of the frame there are 2 No black plastic components which look as though they are the connection joint to the main frame for the additional roof poles.
The appear to connect to the front frame and the roof and canopy support poles plug into them.
My query is I cannot quite fathom out the easiest /quickest way to fit them to the main frame, they ar bolted together but that seams a right caryy on tho split them and then rebolt up after installation, awnings are frustration enough without having to do that.
any ideas of the best way to fit??
Thanks, John
