Isabella awning poles - CarbonX v Fibreglass

I have been looking for a used Isabella Minor awning and have been offered several, some with Carbon X poles and some with IXL Fibreglass. Is there anything to choose between these alternatives in terms of useability/life/strength? I am new to caravanning so any advice would really be appreciated.
 
The carbon x poles are the better out of the 2 but the ixl polesare just as good.

Carbon poles are the newest,i think they stopped the ixl poles approx 4-5 years ago,so bear in mind this as you can age the awning.
